Les Camélias des Demoiselles de Pallus
Located 10 min. drive from Chinon and 1,7 km from the village of Cravant les Coteaux, the four guest houses “Les Camélias des Demoiselles de Pallus” were restored in the first quarter 2019.
The four houses : la Demeure, la Maison de Maître, la Longère and le Logis are detached, each of them with a garden, a kitchen, a lounge. There are two swimming pools in the estate.
Surrounded by vineyards, the houses are spacious and enticingly decorated, with exceptional views over the Chinon AOC vine.

These guest houses are the culmination of the oenology project of the Demars family and are situated in the middle of “Les Demoiselles de Pallus” vineyard. For Jacques Demars, the starting point of the estate story dates back to 2013 when he decided to continue the familiar tradition. His main hobby is oenology and, vintage after vintage, he aims at keeping up with this tradition side by side with his two daughters, Hélène and Claire.
These charming guest houses, « Les Camélias des Demoiselles de Pallus » are the best option for relax and offer a wide range of activities all around such as golf, hiking or cycling, and boat trips along the Vienne or the Loire rivers.
In Touraine the “art de vivre” is cultivated day after day and the Chinon AOC wines pair well with a traditional renowned and innovative gastronomy.

Accomodation
The area is historically rich and Chinon, listed in the UNESCO world heritage, is well known for two reasons :
– for being the place where, on February 25,1524, King Charles VII met Joan of Arc, this young girl who said she was destined by God for saving the country and the monarchy.
- for being called “La Rabelaisie” as the French writer and philosopher François Rabelais was born here.
From Les Camélias des Demoiselles de Pallus, many castles and historical places are within quite an easy reach.
